PLDT Default Admin Password, Username for Fiber, DSL, Ultera

PLDT Default Admin Password, Username for Fiber, DSL, Ultera

PLDT Home offers a variety of internet plans, including FiberDSL, and Ultera. Each plan comes with its own modem/router. To manage and secure your WiFi network efficiently, you must know how to access the PLDT modem admin settings page. To have full admin access to the modem settings, you can use the default PLDT admin password and username. You can do many things with PLDT modem admin settings, from changing WiFi password and SSID, MAC filtering to restrict wireless users, setting a firewall, filtering URL, bridging your router, port forwarding, backup, and more.

In order to access the PLDT router admin settings, we must know the default gateway or the I.P. address that we will enter into our browser (Google Chrome/Firefox). Usually, https://192.168.1.1 is the default gateway of PLDT modems, with an exemption for some modems, like Ultera, which uses https://192.168.15.1 as its default gateway. After you've done entering the default gateway in your browser, you will be redirected to the admin login page. In case you've encountered this error, "Your connection is not private," just click "Advanced" and select "Proceed to 192.168.1.1 (unsafe)," and you're good to go. Below is the complete list of admin passwords for PLDT DSL, PLDT Fiber and PLDT Ultera this 2023.

If you have enough knowledge on managing super admin settings, these are the other PLDT root accounts to have full admin/super admin access. Use it at your own discretion:

Troubleshooting

If you can't access the admin dashboard using the default router IP address (192.168.1.1), follow the procedure below:

1. Open Windows Run Command (command prompt) by pressing the Windows key + R on your keyboard.
2. Type 'cmd', then type 'ipconfig /all'.
3. Look for your LAN adapter (Wi-Fi or Ethernet, whichever is connected to the PLDT router) and find the DHCP server or default gateway with a numeric IP address, something like 192.168.X.X.
4. Go to your web browser (Google Chrome/Firefox) and enter the Default Gateway IP address.
5. You will be landed on the login page. Input the PLDT default password and username to gain access.

If you failed to log in to the PLDT admin dashboard using the default username and password, you might try to hard reset the modem to reset it to its default factory configuration, also known as factory reset. To start with, follow the instructions below:

1. Find the reset button of the router, which is usually placed on the side.
2. Look for a pointed tool like a ballpen, paper clip, or pin.
3. Using the pointed tool, press and hold the reset button for roughly 10 seconds or until all the LED lights turn off except the Power LED light.
4. After you've released the reset button, wait for the router to reboot itself.

In case all of the credentials given above do not work on your PLDT router, you can call the PLDT customer service hotline, just dial 171 using your Smart/TNT phone to ask for assistance regarding your problem. Moreover, you can send a message to the official PLDT Home Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/PLDTHome) to sign the waiver of assumption and liability, and they will provide the credentials of your full admin account.

Do you have any feedback or concern on the list of default PLDT admin password and username? Let us know by leaving a comment below.

Remote Desktop Services session timeout Setup in RD Session Host in Windows Servers

If you face a session time-limit policy issue that gets disconnected in the meantime. You can follow the steps below in order to fix the issue, By default, the user’s RDP session in Windows may stay disconnected until the user or administrator terminates, or the computer is restarted. However, it is quite convenient since a user may connect to his old RDP session and go on working with running programs. In order to terminate disconnected RDP/RDS sessions automatically in a specified time period, you need to set session limits (time-outs) correctly. If you are using an RDS server, you will have to configure session time-out parameters from the RDS collection settings in the Session tab menu. You will have to Specify the time period after which you want to disconnect the RDP session. Lastly, a disconnected session option (by default, a session period is unlimited – Never).
